CRAZY FOR YOU

Trinity Laban Conservatoire Of Music and Dance

Stratford Circus, London

Poster for Bromance the Musical.

With high drama, high kicks and a superb score of Gershwin tunes, Crazy For You is the ultimate celebration of the golden age of Broadway musicals. Love strikes when Bobby, a showbiz-obsessed banker meets Polly, the daughter of a failing local theatre in Deadrock, Nevada.

Combining mistaken identity, physical comedy and a wealth of memorable songs including I Got Rhythm, They Can’t Take That Away From Me, Nice Work If You Can Get It and Embraceable You Crazy for You is the ideal opportunity to see final year Trinity Laban Musical Theatre students before they hit the big time.

The Stage ★★★★

"Crazy For You looked and sounded like vintage Broadway. A Jolly entertaining production, Sarah Redmond added playfulness to the script with oddball sound effects and  I loved her surreal, crazy, decision to cast one of the students as the town Fresian (who we first met while she was being milked… A really fun show".

Musical Theatre Review ★★★★

"Sarah Redmond certainly knows how to get the best out of her young cast in this highly enjoyable production of Crazy For You".

BritishTheatre.com ★★★★★

"A remarkably detailed and accomplished production creating a finished performance of truly West End quality".

Reviewsgate ★★★★

"As a showcase it could not really be bettered".

London theatre 1 ★★★★

"There’s a sort of Brechtian effect that the production manages to create, the comic timing  works well, keeping the punchlines within the confines of character dialogue, without playing to the gallery. Its an enjoyable and energetic production, an evening of lively escapism. “Who could ask for anything more?” "
